The Imtiaz Foundation is proud to announce the completion of a new primary school in the Fayzabad district of Badakhshan province. The school, built over eight months, will serve approximately 400 students from five surrounding villages. The facility includes six classrooms, separate washroom facilities for girls and boys, a library stocked with textbooks and reference materials, and a clean water supply. The construction employed 60 local workers and used locally sourced materials wherever possible. The school opening was celebrated with a ceremony attended by community elders, parents, local government representatives, and foundation staff. Female enrollment has been a particular focus, with 48% of enrolled students being girls."Education is the foundation of everything," said a community elder at the ceremony. "Our children now have a place worthy of their potential."The Imtiaz Foundation continues to seek funding partners for similar school construction projects across Afghanistan's underserved provinces.
